New Euro V Scania K230UB buses

In September last year, Scania had announced that SBS Transit have placed orders for 400 additional Scania K230UB buses with Euro-V/EEV engine. As recent as last week, SBS Transit have deployed the first few units on Services 3 and 36. As many as 20 units have been registered with more than half in active service now. Several differences were made on the new K230s, such as the bigger Hanover electronic destination system (EDS), additional seats, reduction of one wheelchair bay, a new airconditioning unit by Carrier as well as some minor exterior finishing adjustments. Good news with the latest batch as some bus enthusiasts have noted better performance on the buses. I hope to be able to try out the new buses soon and do a review.
