Please note that this shuttle bus service has been discontinued since June 2010.
Tourists and locals are flocking to Singapore’s latest attraction, Resorts World Sentosa. Ever since its opening in February 2010, Resorts World Sentosa or RWS have seen a steady flow of human traffic who are curious to see what the integrated resort has to offer. Built at a cost of nearly S$7 billion, RWS is also home to Southeast Asia’s first Universal Studios movie theme park. The island’s first casino can also be found here, as well as Singapore’s first Hard Rock Hotel. The integrated resort is owned and operated by Genting International, which operates the famous Resorts World Genting in Malaysia and Resorts World Manila in the Philippines. RWS is slated to be fully operational by year’s end.
A range of transportation options awaits visitors to RWS. Visitors may choose to hop on dedicated public bus services or the Sentosa Express monorail service. With all the paid transport options to RWS, do you know that you can get to Resorts World Sentosa for FREE? Yes, FREE! Not a single cent charged. Introducing the Resorts World Sentosa ‘Airport Express’ shuttle!
Resorts World Sentosa has been operating the shuttle service from Changi Airport since the resort’s opening. Calling at Terminals 1, 2 and the Budget Terminal, the shuttle service brings visitors direct to the resort in under half an hour – all at no charge. Jom Naik Bas! brings you a simple pictorial guide on this service.

The airport shuttle runs daily at 45-minutes interval. The first bus from Changi Airport is as early as 8.00am and the last bus will leave late into the evening at close to midnight. When you get to the airport, proceed to the arrival hall level (for Terminals 1 and 2) and the taxi/coach stand at the Budget Terminal. RWS information counter/kiosk are located at Terminals 1 and 2, but not at the Budget Terminal. At these counters, you may check the next departure timing as well as ask anything about RWS from the friendly service staff. But where to locate the counter/kiosk?

- At Terminal 1, the information kiosk is located near Belt 20-23.

- At Terminal 2, the information counter is located opposite Ya Kun Kaya Toast.
The shuttle will depart from the Coach Stand. Not sure where the coach stand is? Just lookout for the signages that are easily available throughout the hall. The Coach Stand are not air-conditioned so you if you are early, you might want to spend some time in the building first, and proceed to the Coach Stand 5 minutes before published departure time.

The shuttle will call at Budget Terminal first and then onwards to Terminal 2 and lastly Terminal 1, before heading out to RWS via East Coast Parkway. The shuttle may stop for around 5 minutes before moving off to the next stop.
All buses used for this shuttle are elderly-friendly and accessible to the wheelchair-bound as well. The Scania K230UB buses can accommodate 37 seated passengers and a wheelchair bay for one. Luggage racks are also provided onboard.

At times, a guide is stationed in the bus to assist passengers on how to get to their intended attraction/hotel from the disembarkation point at RWS. Passengers will disembark at Festive Hotel. You may also return to Changi Airport from Festive Hotel and again, at no additional charge. What are you waiting for? Visit Resorts World Sentosa today!
The shuttle departure times are as follows:
Budget Terminal

Terminal 1

Terminal 2

For more information, visit http://www.rwsentosa.com.
Thank you to the friendly staff at Terminal 1 and the coach captain of PA9280D for their assistance and information.
Hello there,
I am coming from Hong Kong and will be joining my Husband staying at the Hard Rock Hotel. The problem is my husband’s company make the group reservation so they will not have any individual confirmation by email. Is it possible for us to take the direct express bus from the airport to the hotel even if we need to pay a fee that will be fine.
Also is there any shuttle directly going back to the airport from the hotel ??
Thank you in advance.

Hi Antonia.
You will be able to get a ride to your hotel from Changi Airport. Just approach the Resorts World Sentosa information kiosks located at Terminals 1 and 2. The shuttle bus should also be available from RWS to the airport.

Hai ,
I want to go to Resorts World Sentosa at November 13, 2010 and get back to the airport at 7.00 pm
How is the transportation between RW Sentosa- Airport?
Is there train? or bus/ Taxi ?
How much it cost?
Thanks
By: Dian on 9 November 2010
at 2:16 pm
Hi Dian.
There are no direct bus services from RWS to Changi Airport. Available alternatives are the MRT or the taxi.
If you choose to take the MRT, hop on bus service RWS8 or the Sentosa Express monorail to Vivocity. Take the purple North-East Line from Harbourfront to Outram Park station, and then change to the green East-West Line to Changi Airport. Standard single-trip tickets costs S$2.20. Approximate journey time is 50 minutes.
A cab fare from RWS to Changi Airport will cost around S$30 including surcharges at both RWS and Changi Airport.

My family and I (6 pax – 3 adults, 3 children) will be going to Hard Rock Hotel Sentosa tomorrow. What is the best way to get there from Changi budget terminal (AirAsia), by taxi, bus or train? How much does it cost if it is by taxi?
Thanks.
By: khairul on 21 November 2010
at 8:16 am
Hi Khairul.
If you are flying with AirAsia, you will be arriving at Terminal 1.
The most economical way is by MRT from Changi Airport to Harbourfront (with 2 transfers at Tanah Merah and Outram Park stations). At Harbourfront, you can choose to board the RWS8 bus service (S$2 per pax) or the Sentosa Monorail (S$3 per pax). The bus and the monorail services will bring you direct to Resorts World Sentosa.
Cab fare from Changi Airport to Resorts World Sentosa will cost approximately S$30 inclusive of all surcharges applicable.

Hi,
I will be arriving in Singapore on November 8 around 10AM via Cebu Pacific (Budget Terminal). We will go directly to Universal Studios upon arrival. I would like to ask what options do we have to get to Universal Studios and back to the airport (this time to Terminal 1 because our flight to Malaysia will be via Air Asia). We need to leave Universal Studios by 2 or 3PM for another flight (malaysia) at 6PM.
Would appreciate to know the charge for Train Ticket or Taxi or Bus.
Thanks in advance
Ces
